I truly don't give a shit about shipping but its hard for me to enjoy characters so obviously fake. A good desert isnt just a bucket of fucking sugar, you have balance to make the sweet parts better when they do happen.

I truly wonder if its just not possible to have a story that is both appealing to powerfantasy dopamine fried idiots and people who don't mind some ups and downs for protagonists/actual faults to the characters.
It seems unfortunately, the majority of the market is the former.
Even more unfortunately, trying to appeal to the former is pointless because they will always move on to the next shiny toy sooner or later.
I want to believe at least they might find a path in 2.1, but its not looking great.
