Assume an even playing field
In a 1V1 game you have a loosely 50% chance of winning before skill enters the equation, but there's probably an even chance that the other player is of a higher or lower skill level.
In a 1V1V1 your base chance is 33%, you are now losing more often than winning on a level playing field, but now there's an additional chance that one of the teams is just straight up better at the game than your team. I don't know what your definition of F2P friendly is. It gives out the most out of the big 3 Hoyo gachas. Then it's up to you to decide whether you think that's enough to make it generous or not. Still 50/50. Not guaranteed like some gachas. Weapon banner is 75/25 like HSR. It's not guaranteed like some gachas. Constellations exist. You won't get the character at max potential by just pulling them once like some gachas. Up to you what you make of all this information. I think it's pretty generous still. I've gotten the lion share of the cast as a complete F2P, but I've also played since day 1.
