Assume an even playing field
In a 1V1 game you have a loosely 50% chance of winning before skill enters the equation, but there's probably an even chance that the other player is of a higher or lower skill level.
In a 1V1V1 your base chance is 33%, you are now losing more often than winning on a level playing field, but now there's an additional chance that one of the teams is just straight up better at the game than your team. what characters do you have? after a certain point, since you're fighting multiple enemies with FUARKTONS of health and the camera doesn't even allow you to always keep proper track them, it becomes an I-Frame check
if you have Shifu, Miyabi, M1 Yanagi, then it's pretty manageable and the difficulty doesn't ramp THAT much (you get two-shot or one-shot in floor 50, and you'll still get two-shot or one-shot in floor 100), the biggest difference is that enemies become even bulkier and more numerous, so you have to manage your I-frames well (don't try to go for non-invincible stuff unless you're CERTAIN you won't get hit, always cancel invincible moves into dodge or Q since it's the only things with frame 1 invuln, pay really close attention to Jane and Pompei's movements since their attack startups and be really quick and subtle, which makes them hard to notice when there's a clusterfuck of special effects on screen)
