Honestly the Subscription-ocracy is such a big problem but no-one fucking talks about it.
Though picrel is a joke, I know a lot of people who are pretty close to this level, sinking at least a couple of hundred a month into random $5-10/mo subscriptions.

Meanwhile /v/ fucking cries and shits and pisses its pants over paying $12/mo for an MMO they'll sink 16k hours into over 3 years.
