Even though both franchises have a lot of shit in between them I actually think Alien has more good than bad entries including the video games. Alien: Isolation is a masterpiece it's a crime that it didn't sell that well because the market just isn't there for these types of games relative to how expensive they are to make. That's one area where horror movies will always have the leg up on horror gaming.

I really hope the sequel proves more successful. I like indies and AAs but it's just not the same experience as a good AAA with higher production values.
