Replace Pidgey/Spearow spawns with Murkrow at night to put more emphasis on the differences of day and night.
Houndour should have outright replaced Vulpix/Growlithe spawns at night, too.
>If you want to use a NEW Fire-type in Gen 2, your literal one and only option is the Typhlosion line until post-game (Or Ho-Oh if you have Gold version, which means using a Legendary)
Scyther/Onix should evolve if they're holding Metal Coat and level up with high friendship (Make Metal Coat a gift item that Jasmine gives you after you defeat her, or put it somewhere else that's fitting that you can get it before the Elite 4).
Do the same with Slowpoke/Poliwhirl and let them evolve with friendship while holding King's Rock, too.
Apply this same method with Seadra too for good measure.
Sneasel should appear in Ice Path during night the way it does in Crystal with a slightly higher spawn rate.
Make Larvitar like a 1% somewhere, maybe Route 45 or even Dark Cave.
