Your right, but its also because /sp/ has a barrier to entry already guarding it from the ongoings of the other boards seeing as you have to know shit about the sport(s) your talking about. Unlike /v/ or /tv/ where you realistically dont ever have to see a single movie or play a videogame to post there we are insulated due to niche and knowledge. All that to say it still doesnt mean we arent trapped in a little hellscape here with our own special authoriatrians consistently crushing the old culture of the board like those jeets on /biz/.
