>You’ve posted this 10 times already across multiple subreddits. What’s your end goal with all this?
>I'm going to buck the trend of offering advice like these other comments and make it even worse for you. You're 22 and when you finally do get a job you're looking at 40 years minimum of being a wage slave, alienated from your labor, punished for attempting to create value outside of what the company directs. You will be asked for your opinion, then ordered to go do exactly what you said by management as if it was their idea in the first place, who will then claim your work as their victory, with the management above you getting rotating promotions every 2 years to keep you from developing any long-lasting relationships or power base while they get rewarded just for keeping you from going postal under their "leadership". Even with a job you statistically won't be able to afford a house for 20 more years. You will run the numbers of how your family/friends managed to afford their lifestyle just 10 years ago and it will keep you up at night. You will vacillate between being glad you aren't in an El Salvadorian Auschwitz 2 and wondering why none of your peers seem to think anything is wrong with the state of things and refuse to organize against the oppressive system. If you're lucky, you will live long enough to viscerally experience every statement in this comment.
>I highly recommend that you consider going to a trade school for medical. Either medical assistant or medical office work...
>You should work in Yellowstone the rest of the summer or something similar. Look at this as an opportunity. If you really want to do CS now you might need a masters degree.
