The factions displayed here are just those that were in the past. I’ve made this map for fun to show how the Underground looked like at its height. In present day you’ll only see two new factions: the Longest March which had finally made its way to the surface (they’ve gathered a number of Dark Elven/Aranea survivors along the way and had to conquer a Dwarven hold on their way out, which is how these new characters will be added to the roster) and a nation of Aztec-themed Beastfolk fighting a guerilla war against the Ecumene on the Mamet continent.
Also, since I am here, I'll upload the current maps for the setting.

I was thinking more of something like Blackreach in Skyrim, actually.
Realistically, normal subterranean world would be about as hard to survive in as in space. To show that the Underground is alive it needs to have weather and light.
But in present day after it had collapsed, the Underground is dark, yes.

Pirated Wonderdraft and Paint.NET.
8th Outsider is a PvP archetype who made a build based around collecting Inborn Gifts from other people, so it could only turn out like this. I am still refining her backstory, so I might alter things a little. I was thinking of something like: “she started heartless, but by the end of her life she was actually motivated by justice”.

I am currently bogged down in making simplified historical maps for every important year of the world, stretching from the year -1001 to the present day. So expect a little bit more lore for the past timeline.
