Amazing how the story falls back to shit when it focuses hard on the AR team like in the SF monster of the week era, but picks up and becomes amazing when it's focused on the Stasi agents except K, who lost all relevance after saving the commander from that one place I guess, Defy, paradeus, and the conspiracies.

No spoilers or details, just yes or no: Does the commander ever come back, or is he just gone until the sequel?
