I saw it and I like the American remake better. Don't get me wrong - Wages is a fantastic movie. Sorcerer is that one in the million chance where there is a remake better than original, despite the original being a classic already. I remember the studio cinema even doing once a marathon: Wages, Sorcerer and the HORRIBLE fucking modern remake, in a row. Most people left during the modern one.
