Ah ok so something like this? just for reference is sorta what I wanted to do. granted ill resize the gears and teeth to what I need but this is also what I was thinking while I was at work (it was on a work computer so the writing is shit)

also found a really helpful gear setup website to kinda at least help me map out the drection the gears would be turning without opening solidworks and spending some time modeling.
