True and real. I always felt like I was "wasting good anime" or too impatient to set aside or sit through a 20 minute episode. Vtuber content is trash content in the nicest way possible. You can be immersed watching them play a game you know about or just leave it on as dead noise, no pressure.
I've recently discovered 同時視聴. I have rewatched Tsukino Mito watch Fight Club like 5 times and just got done watching the Fate Series with Hoshikawa Sara. Super fun and understandable because their reactions will likely mirror your reaction to some degree.

I used to hate Vtubers too but most of that probably comes from English Vtubers. English Vtubers act cutesy and cringe and pretend to be anime girls. Japanese Vtubers have some of that too, but most of the time it's just someone streaming and talking like a normal Japanese person.
