Portals should make travel much less pain in the ass when presumably planes have stopped working, so while I still need to get to Greenland and whatever, at least going back is instant. Also, if I run into something really tough that needs to die, slicing them with a closing portal seems like satisfying solution.

Everyone is going to pick Rewind... Since you apparently can boost mana cap and regen by some means (like with wight skulls), I'll try to aim for the point where I can effectively halt aging. Another is your basic shield spell.

>Mutations: Evil Eye, Misk's Blood, Kurost's Nerves
Evil Eye is another probably popular pick. Nyxthara's spells ought to be copiable with it too. The others are simple but useful physical boosts, regen is always good and reflexes with better sight can't hurt.

>Items: Brachilag's Stinger, Strist, Daydream Whistle
Paralyzing poison should have good synergy with the bow, and summoned monsters should with keeping enemies at safe archery distance. I haven't glanced threats yet, but I didn't see any magical missile laucher equivalent option, so magic arrows will have to do for offense.

Companions here are bit weird since many of them had motivations that don't mesh with world-wide fetch quest very well... Anyway, I picked Nyxthara so at least someone knows something about magic and otherworldly stuff, Niklas since he probably has travelling experience and motivation to go to remote places, and finally adopting ??? since it feels like it might save me big trouble later on.
