All the effects that protect people or ask you to help people explicitly don't apply towards beastmen and other mutants marked by chaos.
Only pure humans are worthy of consideration(and even then there are other loopholes to also abuse normal people) and this is reflected in the society that is portrayed in the CYOA.

Portals should make travel much less pain in the ass when presumably planes have stopped working, so while I still need to get to Greenland and whatever, at least going back is instant. i think thinking of crossovers for your builds is really useful, because it lets you tell the difference between a powerset you think is cool on its own terms and a powerset you think is cool just because the cyoa fellates you about how much better it makes you than other people

cultivation might seem cool in the settings built around it, but move that kind of build to another setting and it suddenly just seems like a pointless treadmill

a different example is my body build in mythic lands, which seemed really cool at first, but then later i thought of it in crossover terms and realized that it was like 80% carried by just having a 10 in body, which actually makes it really empty

Stardust was the first real multiplayer CYOA, but also the first to include mass customization options and become a breakout. Following that we got Conduit and Power Armor that refined multiplayer, PA had its own general for awhile and Conduit popularized fan-made DLC.

There are five regions that each get more difficult the more of the others you conquer, and it'll take some cunning or ruthless tactics to win without crippling your forces. Unless you grab the mass-multiplayer option but that massively strengthens the kingdom and is a clusterfuck with the explicit assumption of infighting. Several months ago, I swore by my honor I would release before my birthday, on August 7th, and am now doing my best to get version 1.0 out for you anons.
