This dudes wife probably has a job on top of having all the child care duties. Does he seriously think his wife enjoys booking appointments for the kids, does he think she wants to talk about it, and not that she simply believes that he cares about whats going on in his children's lives?
This dude without a doubt thinks pulling a slightly bigger income than his wife means she depends on him as if she isn't the one who also schedules everything for him and is essentially his mom.
No doubt the subtext here is that she hasn't blown him since his birthday 3 years go and never brings up having sex and when they do have it, its clear she's doing it to get it over with so he can shut up about how miserable he is because all she cares about is her dream life of being a mom.
