I promise this question is genuine and not intended to be inflammatory
Does the story ever get good to a point where it's worth reading for its own sake? What I've read of the main story and events is almost entirely just slapstick or tropey CGDCT stuff, and while that's not a bad thing in and of itself it's also not very interesting. There's not much gameplay to it thus far besides easy missions with preset teams, either.
Will it get better or more "serious" later on? If so I'll go back and read through everything but if not I can keep skipping through to unlock shit and not bother
