There is no "objective morality". Morality is driven by our biology and animal traits combined with whatever culture has formed around the community. Most extreme example Aztecs who kept their streets clean, were experts in mathematics and building, kept their children abstinent until adulthood, had rigid traditional roles for men and women and generally promoted warrior's honor and good behaviour in their society. In a lot of ways they were very "modern" and family oriented in their values.

But then their religion involved extreme human sacrifices like tearing hearts out of prisoners, beheading, skinning, burning, drowning, anything nasty you could think of. Worst of all they tortured children to death to collect their tears in a sacrifice ritual to their rain god. Cannibalism was also a thing where the remains of the sacrifices were chopped up and sold at festivals and holiday markets. Cannibalism was named after caribbean for a reason.
