Hello anons, I've been learning Japanese for 2 months and already I am at a level where slice of life watchable, I'm not fluent or anything like that, far from it, but even with that fact anime has never felt so fun once I started watching without localization getting in the way.
So much subtle stuff gets really lost in the translation and scenes hit much harder when you are actually comprehending it.
Think about it this way;
You hate localizators, right? You hate the shitty subs and stuff. As long as you don't know Japanese, you're basically their bitch, no other way around it.
The only way to really break free from these people is to learn Japanese. And it can be done you just need time, consistency and invesement.
Do not fall for the "you can't learn Japanese" meme.
Also it's important to find the right methods. Avoid Duolingo obviously.
If you love anime and manga, and you are like me and consume nothing but anime/manga, you really owe it to yourself anons.
Of course it's up to you, I don't want to force anyone just encourage, I really believe for a lot of people it will be worth it. Sorry if this sounds gay, I have a fever and I thought this was a good thing to do. Keep loving anime and manga /a/, i go to bed
