Just finished reading Bataille’s Theory of Religion, and now I find myself a bit lost. I've decided that going through Bataille’s work, I would take breaks in between each book I read so as to not get burnout. Problem is, I haven't been able to find any work that keeps my interest, I've tried "The Conspiracy against the Human Race race" but the tone felt too whiny and without enough theory, then I went for "Nihil Unbound" which I thought was a bit too focused on scientific knowledge to my taste. Can anyone recommend something more along the lines of Bataille’s "mystical"* materialism and the undefined immanence of non-human experience?

*Note: I know calling it mystical is wrong, but I feel that it gets the point across faster that way.
