Rude awakening for you retards that parrot this shit. The only reason we havent had a proper war is nuclear weapons. Without nukes dumbass grunts would still be digging plenty of holes for reasons other than latrines or punishment. FOBs on a proper hot war will be massive targets for the enemy, not saying they wont be around, but we wont see the massive neighborhood worthy fobs like what was in Afghanistan.
Believe it or not playing in a sandbox doesn't count as a real war, the WOT was like a kid killing ants with a magnifying glass for fun. No true chance for proper counter-battery or otherwise, and clear sightlines all around. Thats not a war, its a shooting gallery, mere training for new NCOs and not any real challenge.
