As someone with diagnosed BPD and a boyfriend who is probably Austistic, its mostly because hes the only person that has ever made me feel safe and reassured like this. With normie men you constantly have to worry about them cheating on you, lying about shit, dating you despite you not even being their type. Im my partners first girlfriend, he genuinely loves me more than anything in the world, we were both bestfriends for several years prior to getting together, we both despise other women and hes far too busy gaming or focusing on his fantasy hyperfixations to ever cheat on me. We have had some arguments in the past but its always easy to talk it out since both of us are always honest with eachother. :)
If it came to describing what we're both like, I guess I fit the MPDG stereotype, Ive always been rather nerdy and erratic, he felt like I was the only person that tried understanding and willingly befriend him unlike his asshole friends. Hes always been the calm and chill guy Ive always had a thing for, hes actually pretty plain but thats what I like so much about him. Hes a total geek and we first bonded over the animes he kept sperging about xP
