I know this has been talked about to death but what the fuck were they thinking with this? A lot of Zero-One is stuff that seems good while you're watching but the second you think about it it falls apart.

Aruto should've gotten a new Humagear secretary who looks completely different to Izu. The scene could still play the same way, but with Aruto saying something like "I can't wait to get to know you". Then when she explains his joke it could still remind him of Izu, and it would teach kids that it's ok to move on and meet new people while still remembering loved ones who are gone. This would work with the themes the last arc (apparently) wanted to get across and would be a really bittersweet ending.

But no they wanted Izu back for crossovers so lets just make another one.
