right here we go

so the plan is to make it out of modular 1'x1' tiles, with 6 raised for areas on land, and 3 acting as a canal
the raised areas will have a tunnel modelled underneath them so you can have more options of board layout in regards to the canal

red is stuff like docks and boats, a way to get across
green is stuff like houses, market stalls, statues, all that kind of good stuff (not a specific layout, I just put some shapes in)
hashed green represents a bridge that can be lowered to get across, or raised
