There's definitely a bunch that predate him, but Zot was the first one I learned of back in middle school. For example, furries might be the earliest ones since they were Kimba the White Lion fans, and a lot of early furries were weebs
The Albedo prototype issue 0 comic also has what looks like a gundamn in one page, but that just might be my speculation
