Alcohol was used down here to control slaves and prevent them from revolting. No matter how badly they were abused, if they were given alcohol on the weekends they would return to the fields on Monday.

I can see how alcohol is used in the same way to control working people. As a Muslim, I genuinely do not feel the need to use any sort of intoxicant, drugs or alcohol.

Am up at 4am every morning to pray Fajr, and that keeps me going through a full day of prayer. I believe that preaching Islam will save people from drugs and alcohol and I do it for free out of love.
