There's cartoons with action in them but no actual action cartoons with a focus on adventure, animated set pieces, and violence.
Entire genre feels lean/bone dry depending on what you consider, like Madness Combat is definitively an action cartoon but idk is Monkey Wrench or NuDucktales an action cartoon?
And it cant just be that there's no market for action cartoons cuz like John Wick exists which is just as action heavy as the movies of the 80s and 90s and people fucking love John Wick, what gives? Kids not buying enough toys for kids cartoons?
