it doesn't matter even if you could build exos fast and cheap, they still would be fated to get minced by drones in open spaces. Pic related is a cool short series about exos, but the catch is that they are so cheap and replaceable (can be bought from aliens for 1ton of limestone, which is like 50 bucks) that they basically become infantry 2.0, and even then the whole setting would be shitted on if they introduced drones like the ones in ukraine
