I just heard this argument a few times by now, that my artwork is supposedly shitty...

I was actually trying to go for a retro style, like Kung Fu for the NES for example. With the big black frame with some UI elements only...
So I don't know if people mean my art is shitty compared to other contemporary indie games that are out right now or compared to other retro looking pixel art games?
