I have thought about that but i don't think that's the case, all of it might be Jungian Psychology though, the wavy pattern of the Black Lodge can represent the Jungian Sea of the Unconscious and the Arm looks like a Human Nervous Sytem, it's also electric like a Human Nervous System. It might be all in Le Head.
