It's sutle but I can't be the only one that notices chapter 1's art always being more rough right? It has it's charm, even if chapter 2 and 3 are polished. Particularly Andrew almost always is a bit off-model in cutscenes, but that's precisely why I like it. It has all the charm of an indie dev prior to breaking out, it honestly is nostalgic. And no, it isn't an effect her older games had to me, as they usually had fewer cutscenes than chapter 1 to have worked on to create that less refined finish. Also having to spend more time on gameplay, cut further into said refining time. This does mean that I think chapter 1 is Nemlei's least well-drawn game overall, but that's exactly why I find it appealing.
