Hell, we’ve even seen them use tools Well that’s bit under debate desu, it’s mostly been watching fish bash shelled creatures against rocks which technically doesn’t match the definition of tool use, which is "wielding one object to manipulate another" but fish don’t really have hands so they can’t exactly pick multiple things up or preform fine manipulation, and bashing the rock against the food, would probably just result in other fish stealing fragments before it gets them so yeah They’re a lot smarter than you think
