I honestly just don't get what's so bad about it being a "fanmade" format, like i'm 99% certain this shit is just shillspeak for "NOOO I CANNOT RESELL MY OLD YGO BULK NO MORE WAH WAHH" nonsense because god forbid you play even a fanmade format made for fun using fucking Proxies because otherwise you'd ruffle some feathers for whoever was stupid enough to pay top buck for cards that have long since lost their luster and value. At least GOAT players have a better excuse since their cards have stupidly low chances of being reprinted, but the availability of common prints of pot of greed for example, far surpasses the demand for said card.

However this might be me being a downie and neglect the real complaints and losses because ultimatedly, i think the main reason people don't wanna go back to shit being a fanmade format comes down to simple shit like going to a locals to play the actual card game rather than spending hours on Dueling Book trying to argue rulings and shit, even if i no longer you can bond with real people with this stupid game (or at least find it silly to limit oneself to just YGO as an excuse to talk to other human beings), i can see the prime problem from removing support for the format.
