Honestly surprised I found any, only had a vague idea I had some lying around. Sheer luck they've survived, though keeping records has become a bit of a hobby of mine since then.

I actually ran into the scaling wall quite organically in my playthrough. It's easy enough if going in you're not that well-versed in the game's skill/stat systems.
I wanted to play a backstabby thief and talker/merchant type, so my main skills included thievery things, light armor and blade (and I think acrobatics, biggest mistake there), and I spent a lot of time early game exploring and doing non-combat quests. Sneaking around, picking locks, bartering etc. ended up leaving me with low offensive and defensive skills and stats by the mid-levels, so that when I finally went to save Kvatch, the level-scaled clannfear there would routinely three-shot me. My only saving grace was my high speed and athletics. I quite vividly remember kiting a herd of clannfear in a ring, slowly whittling their health down while trying feverishly to survive.
After that I got wiser and spent some time leveling my non-main combat skills to catch up with my levels, and also made sure to maximize my physical stats on level ups. Ended up becoming a kind of an armored battlemage by late game.
