that advice is useless for ugly people. I dress nice but I cant make up for my horrible visage.
I usually meet a girl in my workplace or keep running into her in the cofeeshop every few days and start talking regularly with her. all unplanned btw. this goes on for a month or two and we are good talking buddies, but the moment I develop a crush and look at her face while talking with a silly smile on my face, the moment she realizes I got a crush on her, she always has this horrified or disgusted look on her face that tells me that it would be social suicide to try what you just said. this has happened to at least 10 girls over the past 3 years since I finished college. I really should have gotten a girl friend back in college instead of being a studyholic. maybe the same would have happened or maybe I would have found the trick to it all by now.
