I don't believe him desu.
He releases two videos per week and most of his videos get 20k-40k views.
That's ~240k views per month on the high end or approximately ~$21k/year in revenue.
Add in some sponsorships (which he doesn't actually do all that much of) and he might make $50k/year. And that's a big maybe.
I remember Marnix saying he gets like $10 from each of his videos because youtube ad revenue for gamedev is garbage.
