I'm starting to do some prototyping on the Castle Siege scenario.

So far I have two Ideas and I'm not sure which is more fun.

1.) Large castle on one end of the map, battelfield/large expanse in front of it (perhaps a moat). Attacking team spawns with horses, you charge and dodge cannonfire or bowfire (maybe some custom effects like hot oil) and try to scale the walls. Either kill all members of the defending team, or reach the belltower to ring the bell, killing all remaning players on the other team.

2.) Slower paced but more "gamified" map. Attackers are free to choose a few routes, like dark forest area, swamp, open plain, to reach the castle. Gain entrance in one of a number of ways like charging the gate (fastest but riskiest), entering through the sewers (slow but less vulnerable) and at least one other entrance I haven't thought up yet. Then same, kill the defending players or ring the bell to win.
The defending team in this scenario could press buttons to trigger traps or spawn mobs in each approach zone.

Thoughts and or ideas I might not have thought of?
