even putting aside the surprise turns this island takes sometimes, the Collabs have consistently been much darker and more serious in tone than anything else that ever happens here.
This is especially true of the third one, which starts out much more comedic than the other two, and then gradually gets more confrontational before it suddenly swan dives into "you're all going to die" territory and unlike pretty much everything else here it's treated with 100% seriousness. Sonya even corrodes the world around her and apostatized numerous islanders. I don't think it would be out of place for the Collab.

Oh in the original world yeah she's completely FUBAR unless we take the original Ilias back home in the NG++/Second Playthrough/Golden Route/Trip With Chaos/whatever it's called and she does something herself. It's just really sad.

ok on that note I agree with you that's never going to happen either but the reason I agree with you on that is because (in what's probably the funniest moment in the stories here) when at the end of their last meeting before going home Luka reveals to Alice that the reason that he isn't going to kill Tiny Ilias (who's canonically the last surviving fragment of the original Ilias) is because "she's not our Ilias", the subsequent realization that if Luka HAD realized that she was actually the original Ilias he would have reacted to it by IMMEDIATELY KILLING HER because he hates her that fucking much was not only hysterical but turned what seemed like an asinine coincidence into comedy gold when the refusal to explore how they would react to the possible reunion ends up being the only reason that Ilias survives. Given one of Luka's consistent flaws is his inability to control himself when he's angry I genuinely believe he would've done it too.
I don't know if they'd kill the Original Eden if they met her again, but they definitely wouldn't like her.
