There was a period where I watched those speedrunning history videos (before I got bored because they're really repetitive) and I think it was a Ninja Gaiden related one and it got to the point where one guy specifically was constantly breaking records and the video mentions him running the game 5-6000 times
Can't even imagine playing one game so many times, I was curious after and it turns out he doesn't have the record anymore either, speedrunning, not even once
