Okay so my strategy (team in picrel) was to basically take down all slimes attacking normally with burst whenever available BUT guarding turns 5, 8, 9, 13, 16, 17, 21, 25 and 29. Basically just dodge "self-drawn win" and "eight flowers", anticipated by "not so cocky" and "mahjong ruler" dialogue respectively. Do prioritise your healing over your offensive.
