FEH's willingness to do FE antics in non-standard settings like steampunk world/fairy land/sci-fi Valhalla is something I wouldn't mind seeing in a mainline title. Maybe a Hoshido/Nohr split with a high fantasy faction with elves and the like against a technologically-advanced country.
