She clearly doesn't see herself as needing to change herself to keep things together. She carries on with her own, perfect little routine, and cuts off anyone who won't get with her program. Asgore has his own share of mistakes, but it's clear he's TRYING very hard to hold everything together in terrible situations, and his partner just left him holding the bag because she couldn't be bothered to support him.
