Yes, it's mostly bullshit. Someone claiming to be a stadium architect went through the ADA requirements. Turns out compliance would have reduced seating by about 600. The other eleven and a half thousand is all about lack of demand for bleacher seats and/or increased demand for club type seats.

Somewhere in Baton Rouge there's an accountant sounding an alarm but until ticket sales go down, no one is going to listen. Once they start having some bad seasons, especially if combined with a sour economy, they'll look at reducing capacity.
I expect Alabama to be in worse shape if DeBoer flames out. The Tide has very passionate fans and part of that includes saying "Fuck You!" to the program if it doesn't win championships. And even in the best years, their yankee students are notorious for leaving games early or not showing up at all.
