Yeah I get that. Especially when he's an adult, focusing on him and trying relive his "glory days" leaves a sour taste in my mouth every time.

This entire arc feels like a parody of dragon ball. This is like if someone saw the meme "dbz is only about people screaming, powering up, and changing their hair color for no reason" and they made a story about that.
For the same reasons I don't like beast Gohan, I don't like this much either. It's clear he watched Super Hero and thought it was the best thing ever.
