They just don't make 'em like they used to. This game had you design Mechs, give companies money to research new parts and weapons, and send out groups of Mechs. But you don't control any of them (without the cheat code), you watch them play out the programming that you coded into them. It is quite easy to 'break' the game, and it is noted in the manual for the game itself, but it is a lot of fun to mess around with. I never got to play the sequels, hope they are cool.
