Maybe the program he was originally had a different designated name and once he gained sentience/properly became active he decided to name himself something better or more professional sounding because that was the original reason he gave himself his current name iirc. And it's not even a name it's an acronym it just happens to be an actual name irl which probably was fascinating to him kek

Maybe his original program name was just "The Ringmaster" or something vague and impersonal so he took the whole aesthetic from it and started himself from scratch so he would be taken seriously
