cc9 blog post and review: I hit 1,500 rounds recently and would like to tell anons about it so they can either make an informed decision about purchasing it or shit on it in a more calculated way

>the good
1. great length of pull with the larger backstrap, finger never feels scrunched up while completing trigger pull
2. decent enough trigger for a micro9, only one that's been better for me is the shield plus performance center edition
3.the iron sights are great, maybe that's personal preference but tritium front black rear just works for me. XS makes them
4. not planning on putting an optic on mine but the optic cut is good if you want to use a holosun, it does do a low co-witness. My friend has the cc9 that came with a red dot and while it's great to shoot I just don't want to have a little extra bulk while I carry
5. this is probably subjective but the gun does feel a lot more 'premium' compared to other micro 9's. (Compared to the shield plus, a csx, a glock 43x that I own)
6. big trigger guard

>the bad
1. grip texture is lacking which is why I added that ugly ass tape. I like shooting pistols fast and magdumping and with it being so thin it does have the tendency to walk out of my hand even when I'm vicegripping it. What the fuck were they thinking not texturing further up.
is
2. For some reason this thing gets hotter than any other gun I've shot, especially compared to those other's that I listed above

>the indifferent
1. You don't need me to tell you this but the looks
2. I was going to put this into the negative category but it's made in the US instead of germany. I do think the overall quality of the cc9 let me place it into the indifferent category though
3. Similarly to my echelon, these companies offer FCU type pistols and then don't follow it up with more OEM parts. The cc9 (and the echelon) are fine, but you should try to actually make use of the modularity. Only time will tell.

It's not perfect but I do think it's the best micro9 out there
