I am zoom

I enjoy a film or book more if I don't already know what is going to happen. When I am watching a tv series from the past I intentionally don't search anything up related to it. I watched Rome a bit ago, also I watched Shogun recently - I wanted to search up some thing related to what happened in an episode/reality of Roman law/perceptions when killing that slave for example but I knew if I searched it I would get a link to some post talking about X character dying or whatever.

There may be a difference generationally because entertainment is much more separated out now with no shows that everyone watches. As a zoomer you can totally not have seen lots of the things your peers have because everyone has their own section of stuff they like, not like everyone having seen Game of Thrones or the Sopranos etc... where people would immediately discuss it at work the next day. Series get released all at once and people consume them at different rates and I can easily avoid spoliers/information on a game/film/book/series that has been out for a year or a decade because I just don't click on stuff related to it.

As a millenial you probably had to be more active about telling everyone to shut up about spoilers because the people you are around had all seen the same thing that was going and wanted to discuss it so were more crazy about it.
