Beat it, managed on my first attempt. Taking the Plasmois rifle and the Thresher with Lode Discs was definitely a good idea since it seems like the boss was weak to holy damage, fittingly enough and staying alive was easy when I found out that the Unlost techpriest's healing aura overlapped with my briefcase's. Just had to dodge the Kamehamehas. The ending really does suck but I can't really be too mad because the ride there was so fun, I kind of already want to start over with some tweaked world settings but I think I'd rather wait and not burn myself out. Definitely one of my favorite games to come out in a while.
