Per capita stats is all that matters. There's many NBA players who have more accumulated points than Michael Jordan, what made him unique was his points per game which hasn't been topped.

Would you rather have a QB who threw for 3 TDs a game but only played for 10 years or a QB who only threw 1 TD per game but played for 30 years?

Both QBs would end their career with 510 TDs.
