Anon, you might be fucking retarded. The game explains this shit to you naturally as you start it up and create your party. You are expected to make the connection that G=good, FIG=fighter, you are expected to harness your vast vidya knowledge and understand that HITS=hit points. AC is the odd one out here because unless you come from tabletop, CRPGs, or other shit that uses it, you won't know and the games don't really spell it out for you. But that it what the manual is for, and would spell out how AC works in relation to its combat application anyway (and literally everything else, because back in the 80s you were expected to be literate unlike today).
The game presents exactly as much info as you need to make informed choices: low AC melee classes take the front row, high AC casters and other squishy guys take the back.
